We crossed another state line - into Vermont. Lots of climbing, one hill went on for 6.3 miles of up to 10% grade. We climbed up to Hogback Mtn and then had a long, glorious descent into Brattleboro.
Great weather today - partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures in the mountains. Lots of pictures to share.

ReplyDeleteI saw the 8% grade sign for the next two miles and just thought... Wheeeee! Of course, you probably pedaled to get momentum to get up the other side.
ReplyDeleteThe downhill was over ten miles and, yes, at times I was pedaling hard to keep up my momentum. I was already on the descent when I stopped to take the photo of the sign. Someone referred to it as "truck on cheese."
